SP tem 19 das 20 melhores Rodovias do Brasil

São Paulo has 19 of the 20 best highways in Brazil.

A new survey by the National Confederation of Transport (CNT) revealed that São Paulo is home to 19 of the 20 best highways in Brazil. The result reinforces the efficiency of the state’s highway concession model, which has ensured high standards of maintenance, signage, and safety along São Paulo’s main routes.

According to the study, which evaluated more than 110,000 kilometers of highways across the country, São Paulo’s roads stand out for their quality pavement, proper signage, and efficient concession management. The CNT also noted that 81.6% of the state’s road network was rated as “excellent” or “good,” a figure far above the national average.

Among the top-rated highways are well-known routes such as Anhanguera (SP-330), Bandeirantes (SP-348), Castello Branco (SP-280), and Régis Bittencourt (BR-116) — all essential for the flow of production and heavy cargo transportation across the country.

Infrastructure That Drives Heavy Transport

For companies that rely on road efficiency, such as Galiego Transportes Pesados, the quality of São Paulo’s road network represents a true competitive advantage.
With a modern fleet and nationwide operations, Galiego reaffirms its commitment to safety, punctuality, and sustainability in transport logistics every day.

The excellent condition of São Paulo’s highways directly contributes to lower logistics costs, less vehicle wear, and greater delivery predictability — all key factors in the industrial logistics and heavy transport sector.

Investment and Results

The survey also highlighted the positive impact of road concession programs, which have enabled greater private investment in the maintenance and modernization of highways. It is estimated that, in São Paulo alone, over R$ 180 billion have been invested in road improvements since the beginning of the concession program.

These results reinforce the state’s role as a national benchmark in road infrastructure, benefiting both drivers and companies that keep Brazil’s economy moving on wheels.
