Transportadora Galiego was founded in 1989. The initial line of business was sand and gravel transportation and earthmoving. As the years progressed and it gained experience, the company seized the opportunity to operate in the road freight transportation segment, focusing on deliveries for a client in the city of São Paulo and the metropolitan region.
After a few years in this segment, the earthmoving activity was extinguished from the companys line of business.
Transportadora Galiego, with the participation of its founder Lauro Galiego, at the time acting as one of the companys drivers and manager, continued in this line of business from 1994 until 2008, and in 2005 there was another turning point in the line of business, which was the key to the companys growth.
